Day 01 - Panama City

- Meet & greet at Tocumen Intl. Airport.

Private transfer to Panma city.

La Concordia Boutique Hotel  After being declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, Casco Viejo’s abandoned surroundings reemerged to inspire local pride. Following this, the Panama Canal Expansion was announced, and the world, once again, had its eyes on Panama. Just like that, history began to repeat itself. Panama’s economy re-flourished and restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and plazas in Casco Viejo began filling with people curious to discover the paradise promised to be found in Panama. Casco Viejo was transformed into a cultural and trendy site for both foreigners and Panamanians. In 2012, the opportunity to re-establish a lodging project in La Concordia was seized in an instant by the Fornós Family. Now, this quintessential building is a romantic boutique hotel that offers the perfect spot to experience Panama’s past and present. A spot where you can both indulge alongside a decades’ worth of memories and marvel at the contemporary surroundings of Panama’s unfolding future. A new chapter is being written in ‘Finca 74’, which starts with the revival of La Concordia. Enrich your stay in the tropics by experiencing this enticing building, where the ruthless fire a century ago wasn’t reason enough to make the magic go away. This time, history not only repeats itself. This time, history outshines itself.  .

day guided tour in Panama City - honeymoon package with guided private city day tour package

Day 02 - Panama City

Full day tour: City Tour, Panama Canal

(Miraflores Locks) & Biomuseo

This full day tour is the perfect way to discover Panama City.   First thing in the morning, a visit to the emblematic Panama Canal. Visiting the Miraflores Locks visitor’s center – the nearest set of locks to the city, makes it possible to learn about the history and the daily operation of the Canal. This visitor center has three main attractions: The Museum, the audiovisual presentation, and the lookout point where it’s possible to observe the ships passing through each one of the chambers. After this, and accompanied by your guide, you will visit the charming “Casco Antiguo” or Old Quarter, built in 1673 after Panama La Vieja (the first city) was looted and burned. The predominant architectural style of the Casco Antiguo is a combination of Italian, French and Spanish colonial.  During the expedition through this colonial part of the city, you will have the opportunity to visit some churches – including the famous Golden Altar which survived the plundering and destruction of pirate Morgan, and different parks and plazas while you learn about the history of the city.   Lunch is included in one of the restaurants of the Casco Antiguo.  To end of the day, you will visit the Biomuseo, which is located in the Amador Causeway. This museum was designed by the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry and is his only work in Latin America.  The Biomuseo’s 4,000 square meters contain eight permanent exhibition galleries - created by the Canadian designer Bruce Mau, and the main theme is the origin of the Panamanian isthmus and its gigantic impact on the planet’s biodiversity.  Important: Biomuseo is closed on Mondays. Tour includes: transportation, entrance fees, English / Spanish driver speaking guide, bottle of water and lunch. What to bring: Light clothing, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, hat, camera and sunscreen. Duration: 8 hours (approx.)

igenous Community is located. Besides, a cultural presentation with traditional dances and music will allow you to interact with the group and the members of the community. A light, traditional lunch is included during the tour; usually based on the catch of the day. To get to the hotel from Colon Island, the main island of Bocas del Toro where the airstrip is situated, guests have to take a 30-minute boat ride.   The nine cabins at Punta Caracol are joined to the main dock – where the restaurant is located – by independent trails on the sea and feature a platform in the terrace with stairs to access the crystal-clear waters surrounding each bungalow. Besides, all suites have hot water, a 12-volt electric power supplied by solar panels, mineral water bottles, raincoats, umbrellas, flashlights, beach towels, snorkeling equipment and reading lamps.    At night, the restaurant's impressive palm leaf roof creates the perfect surrounding for a candlelight dinner.
